FC Wisconsin Announces Developmental Partnership With Allouez Stampede

A Developmental Partnership with Allouez Stampede Soccer Club

FC Wisconsin has announced a new developmental partnership with Allouez Stampede to provide more opportunity and new resources for players within the Green Bay area.  Beginning in the fall of 2015, the two clubs will work together to create a new long-term athlete development focused environment to help players progress within the game.

The new platform will include rebranding Allouez teams under the FC Wisconsin umbrella and training curriculum as ‘FC Wisconsin Stampede’. The FC Wisconsin Directors of Coaching will serve as the FC Wisconsin Stampede Technical Directors, assist with training sessions throughout the year, provide coaching support, education and curriculum, and provide college recruiting advice for players and families. “This represents a great opportunity for FC Wisconsin to continue to help in the development of players across Wisconsin,” said FC Wisconsin Co-Director of Coaching Billy Solberg. “We have multiple players that currently play for the club from the Green Bay area so we are aware of the talent in this area.  This partnership will allow us to impact more players at every age and help with their continued development in Green Bay.

FC Wisconsin Stampede teams will continue to train and compete in their current leagues. Players will now have access to additional trainings both in Milwaukee and Green Bay with multiple coaches to help with their development. The program will also have a College Advising Program to help players and families through the recruiting process as players enter High School.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to improve the development of our players, open doors to higher levels, and provide new resources for our coaches,” said John Nichols, President for Allouez Stampede.  “By working together with FC Wisconsin we will be able to better serve our players at every level, and provide a pathway for them to play at a higher level.”

“As a coaching staff we are looking forward to working collaboratively with the FC Wisconsin staff and Technical Directors to improve our coaching education to continue to create the best environment for our players to maximize their potential”
