FC Wisconsin and ARNG team up to offer free College ID Camp

FC Wisconsin, the state’s top club in placing players in college is happy to announce yet another opportunity for players to be identified and coached by college coaches from across the nation.  FC Wisconsin will hold is first Army National Guard College Identification Clinic on June 14th.  The clinic is sponsored by US Club Soccer, is a FREE all day event, and open to the public for any player(s) 15 years of age or older.

“This is a great opportunity for not only our players but players in Wisconsin who are looking to be seen, recruited by these colleges, interact with these college coaches, have their recruiting questions answered, and showcase their ability. Being able to offer our own free College Id camp to our families and help them in cutting cost of college ID camps is important to us “said Co-DOC Billy Solberg

The following coaches will be on site helping to run the camp and identify future recruits:

Dan Popick - University of Wisconsin Green Bay

Keith Tiemeyer - University of Wisconsin

Ross Brady - Northern Illinois University

Ed Joyce - Campbell University (North Carolina)

Marty Lataille - Concordia University

Joe Luedke- Wisconsin Lutheran

Kevin Brennan - Cardinal Stritch University

Dave Madsen - University of Wisconsin Milwaukee (Women's GK Coach)

Players will take part in training sessions in the morning followed by small sided 8 vs 8 games that will be coached by the college coaches. The afternoon will be full sided matches designed to showcase the players while being watched and coached by the above coaches in attendance.

The players will also receive lunch at no cost.  While on lunch break, the players will have a Q&A session with the colleges to better understand a day in the life of a collegiate athlete.
