College Awards Pile up for FC Wisconsin Alumni

 

Germantown, WI, November 17, 2014, – FC Wisconsin Alumni gain unprecedented success across the country!!

 

FC Wisconsin alums are earning collegiate accolades at unprecedented levels this year.  Multiple players, at multiple schools have received individual recognition within the best conferences across the country.

Patrick Hodan earned the ACC Offensive player of the year award as well as garnering ACC All-First Team honors. Coming off the 2013 NCAA National Championship season, Hodan leads the Irish team with 9 goals and 21 points.

Reid Stevenson and Nick Moon both earned Horizon League All-Freshman honors in their first season with the Panthers. As a freshman, Stevenson led the Milwaukee offense with 5 goals and 2 assist, with Moon adding 2 goals and 2 assists to his name. Fellow teammate Luke Goodnetter, in his senior campaign earned Horizon League First Team All-Conference honors.

Max Karcher a red-shirt freshman at St Louis University was named to the A-10 All-Rookie Team. Karcher has been an ever present this season, starting in every game for the #9 Nationally ranked Billikens.

Marcus McCrary followed up his #23 ranking in TopDrawer Soccer’s top 100 Freshman in the country by earning a spot on Big Ten All-Freshman Team. McCrary in his first season at Ohio State University ended the regular season with 3 goals and 1 assist, scoring in their recent 2-1 loss to Indiana in the Big 10 Conference Semi-Final.

Alex McBride a red-shirt freshman at Marquette University earned a spot on the Big East All-Rookie team. McBride played in 15 games this season for the Golden Eagles scoring 1 goal adding 2 assists.

Logan Andryk for the second year running has earned the NACC Offensive Player of the Year award, as well as making NACC First Team All-Conference. The MSOE standout leads the team with 10 goals and 25 assists for 45 points on the season. Younger brother Braden Andryk in his first season was also named NACC First Team All-Conference as well making the All-Freshman Team. Fellow teammate Michael Skow was also an NACC First Team All-Conference selection.

The 2014 season represents the most accolades that FC Wisconsin Alumni have ever achieved in one season. The club would like to congratulate all of our alumni on the success that they have had this year!!
