Marty joins FC Wisconsin-Nationals  staff after a successful 2012 (1st season) coaching at Concordia University of Wisconsin, where as an assistant he helped guide the team back to its first Northern Athletics Conference finals in six years. From 2003 to 2007 he played at CUW where they won 2 Lake Michigan Conference titles, made four trips to the LMC/NAC Conference Tournaments Championship and one appearance in the NCAA tournament.

After graduating from CUW he immediately became the varsity coach at his alma mater West Allis Nathan Hale and eventually attended graduate school. During this time period he earned multiple coaching licenses/certifications and worked numerous collegiate soccer camps including University of Akron, University of Wisconsin and University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.

“I am excited and honored to join the staff at FC Wisconsin, I am thankful to Ben Sheperd and Chris McCreary for handing me this opportunity. FC has a highly regarded group of coaches that will help me strengthen my overall knowledge of the game while also enhancing my experience at the club level."

“This move is great for my career because of the people, facilities and location. But it was the emphasis on developing players, commitment and professionalism that helped me make this decision. The standards are really high at FC and I aim to keep that tradition.”
